During school, I had the opportunity to study abroad in London. My time
there gave me the chance to study and travel independently, discovering a different culture and land. While
there, I lived with a family that housed students from several countries. I also took two classes at
Thames Valley University, which included Theater in London, and Colloquium of British Culture. This experience has
been a highlight of my life. I believe if one has the opportunity to travel, it must not be overlooked because
it is only when we can live within a culture that we can truly understand it. This, and future travels, will be advantageous
in my career as an educator.
Each week, I and several other students traveled to cities around London.
